This membership is for individuals who have purchased a Learn to Skate USA Membership and would also like to be a part of Club. This membership offers the same benefits of the Learn to Skate Membership, with the added club benefits of being able to attend GEFSC Club events and Junior Board events, purchase select GEFSC Club gear, and appear on the GEFSC Club Skater Picture Board in the Swonder lobby. This membership does not qualify skaters for competitive Theatre On Ice teams.

Description:

This membership is for individuals who have never been a full USFSA member.  Introductory members will become a full member of the United States Figure Skating Association (USFSA) and the Greater Evansville Figure Skating Club (GEFSC).  Includes membership for one (1) skater under the age of eighteen (18) or one (1) adult skater over the age of 18 (i.e., just coming out of Basic Skills, or a brand new USFSA member). Introductory members are allowed to test at the USFSA level.

Volunteer Requirements:

This membership requires a minimum of twelve (12) volunteer hours throughout the year, eight (8) of which must be during Fall Festival.  

Price:

$85/year + $40.00 for each additional family member/year. All skaters under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian join as an additional family member; that parent or guardian must become SkateSafe certified for the current season which includes a background check at a cost of $30.
