Theatre on Ice (TOI) is a team skating discipline that combines figure skating skills with choreography, storytelling, music, and theatrical performance. Skaters work together to create a cohesive program that blends technical elements with artistry, expression, and teamwork. GEFSC’s Theatre on Ice program operates under the name River City Ice Theatre.

River City Ice Theatre (RCIT) is Indiana’s first TOI team. RCIT aims to field multiple teams at different levels annually and has won several national medals in the Open Division, including bronze and silver medals at the US Figure Skating National TOI Championships in 2016 and 2107, respectively, and a silver medal at the 2021 National TOI Summer Series.  In 2018, RCIT’s Novice Team finished as a Team USA Alternate.
