GEFSC Coaches
The GEFSC professional coaching team is critical to the advancement of the Club's mission and goals. These professionals annually fulfill the compliance requirements set forth by US Figure Skating, including SkateSafe certification, background checks, and continuing education courses.
GEFSC professional coaches are certified to teach on GEFSC sessions and classes, as well as on Swonder sessions. When teaching private lessons, GEFSC professionals are independent contractors and set their own policies and coaching rates. GEFSC recommends that parents discuss experience, expectations, coaching philosophies, values, and all fees prior to entering into a professional-student relationship.
Grace Myer
Coach & Learn to Skate Lead
Grace has coached Learn to Skate group classes since 2010 and private lessons since 2013. She coaches singles, competitive figure skating, choreography, group classes, skating skills, off ice classes, and power.
As a skater, Grace competed at the Eastern Great Lakes Regionals Qualifying Competition and Theatre on Ice Nationals. She has passed USFS Junior Moves in the Field test and Intermediate Freeskate test. Grace graduated from the University of Evansville.

Christin Hayes
Coach & RCIT Program Lead
Christin has coached Learn to Skate group classes since 2006 and private lessons since 2008. She coaches singles, competitive figure skating, choreography, group classes, skating skills, off ice classes, ice dance, theatre on ice, national showcase production team, and power.
She is a U.S. Figure Skating Accredited Level 1 Coach in Singles. She is certified as completing the skating director courses at the North American Rink Conference in 2012.
As a skater, Christin competed at Eastern Great Lakes Regionals, National Showcase and Theatre on Ice Nationals. She has passed USFS Novice Moves in the Field test, Novice Freeskate test, and Silver dance tests. She received her bachelor's degree in Health Services with a concentration in Administration from USI.

Aeriel De Jesus-Grimm
Coach
Aeriel has coached Learn to Skate group classes since 2015 and private lessons since 2016. She coaches singles, competitive figure skating, showcase, solo ice dance, group classes, skating skills, and off ice instruction.
She is currently in the process of obtaining her certified strength conditioning specialist certification.
As a skater, Aeriel competed at Eastern Great Lakes Regionals Competition, National Showcase (10 time medalist), and Theatre on Ice Nationals. She has passed USFS Senior Moves in the Field test, Novice Freeskate test, and Pre-Silver solo pattern dance tests.
Aeriel attended the University of Evansville where she received her bachelor's degree in Exercise Sports Science in 2019, as well as her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2021. Aeriel also works full-time at an outpatient clinic in Evansville. She specializes in orthopedic and aquatic physical therapy, with an emphasis on injury prevention/rehabilitation for athletes and the general population.

Dana Tang
Coach
Dana has coached Learn to Skate group classes since 2011 and private lessons since 2013. She coaches singles, competitive figure skating, group classes, skating skills, off ice classes, ice dance, and yoga.
She is a U.S. Figure Skating Accredited Senior Coach in Skating Skills and Level 1 Coach in Singles and Ice Dance. She is also a registered yoga instructor.
As a skater, Dana competed at Eastern Great Lakes Regionals Qualifying Competition, Theatre on Ice Nationals, and National Showcase. She has passed USFS Senior Moves in the Field test, Junior Freeskate test, Gold Ice Dance tests, Adult Solo Free Dance test, and Preliminary Figures test. Dana received her bachelor's degree in Computer Science and received an MBA from USI.
Dana currently coaches figure skating, and codes apps for figure skaters.

Eowyn Gregory
Coach
Eowyn has coached since 2000 and has been with GEFSC Learn To Skate and private
lessons since 2024. She coaches singles, competitive figure skating, choreography, group classes, skating skills, off ice classes, power and hockey skating skills.
As a skater, Eowyn grew up in Maine and competed internationally and regionally. She has passed Silver Moves in the Field, Bronze Freeskate, Bronze dance and First figure test.
Eowyn currently breeds, trains and shows American Saddlebred horses with her husband, and also owns and runs Essential Clean.
