Each October, the West Side Nut Club organizes and sponsors a week-long Fall Festival with free entertainment, carnival attractions, over 137 food booths, amateur talent competitions and a huge parade. This event attracts over 200,000 people and is considered to be one of the largest street festivals in the United States.

 

​West Side Nut Club supports the Evansville community by assigning food booths to area non-profit groups, which are able to raise significant funds from this opportunity. GEFSC’s food booth at the Fall Festival is a major fundraiser and critical to the financial stability of the club.

 

Proceeds are used to cover costs relating to running the club and are also shared with members in the form of credits, that can be used toward club programming and events. In addition, the Fall Festival is a great way to get to know other skating families and support the community.
