About

Our annual Greater Evansville Figure Skating Club Christmas Show is a highlight of the skating season! Each year, we prepare a holiday performance complete with sets, costumes, lighting, and great skating to showcase our skaters and spread Christmas cheer to the community.​ This year, we are excited to offer two performances of the Christmas Show on Sunday, December 13th at 2 PM and 6 PM. We are looking forward to working with you all on a wonderful show this year.

Primary Numbers & Opening Number Practices

Time: Saturdays 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM

Notes: All participants will have a primary number - This is the main program you perform in the show. Each group and duet/trio will be assigned a 30-45 minute practice time within this time frame.

Specialty Number Practices

Time: Sundays 4:30-6:30 PM

Notes: Specialty numbers are optional add-ons for skaters who wish to be part of additional group numbers beyond just their primary number. This includes: Learn to Skate Number, Aspire Number, Family Number, Adult Number, and Ensemble. Each group will be assigned a 20-30 minute practice time within this time frame.

Rehearsals & Show Performances

Notes: All show participants will attend the entire duration of both rehearsals and will perform their number(s) in both show performances. 

Dates: 

• Friday, December 4 from 5-8 PM - Run-Through Rehearsal

• Friday, December 11 from 5-8 PM - Dress Rehearsal

• Sunday, December 13 at 2 PM (Skaters arrive by 1) - Matinee Performance

• Sunday, December 13 at 6 PM (Skaters arrive by 5) - Evening Performance
