This session is from July 12th-Sept. 6th, 2022 from 5:45-6:30pm on Tuesdays. We will not be having classes on Aug. 2nd due to the National Showcase Competition. This session all skaters must renew their seasonal membership with us for the 2022-2023 skating season. Current club members excluded.

About
This session will be from July 12th-September 6th, 2022 from 5:45-6:30pm each week. We will be taking Tuesday August 2nd off for the 2022 National Showcase competition. This session will be the first one of the 2022-2023 skating season. Therefore all seasonal memberships must be renewed. If skaters have already renewed their GEFSC full club memberships, please select that discounted option for registration.

Class Levels:
Snowplow (Ages 3-5): It's all about fun! Get your skater on the ice by introducing them to the basics. Our snowplow levels (1-4) get them moving by allowing them to feel comfortable on the ice.
Basic Skills (Age 6+): Our basic skills classes get your skater comfortable with moving across the ice! Upon completing the 6 levels your skater will master skills necessary to succeed in hockey or figure skating!
Pre-Free Skate: This class is for skaters who have accomplished the Basic 1-6 curriculum. This class will transition your skater from the basic skills to the more advanced within the Learn to Skate structure.
Specialty Classes: Our specialty classes are for skaters who have passed the Pre-Free Skate level and are looking to continue to progress within our programming by participating in our rotating class opportunities. There is no limit on skating level at this time to participate in our specialty classes. Our specialty class this session is our Free Skate 1-6 class.
Adult: This class is for adults of all skating levels.

This session has been modified for the safety of all participants, family members and coaching staff. We are offering the Snowplow 1-4, Adult 1-6 & Basic 1 through pre-freeskate/freeskate classes for this session. Skaters at these beginner levels should be able to accomplish the basic skating skills required to learn cognatively through either visual or verbal learning techniques. If your skater is below the basic 2 level and is interested in participating in this session of classes, please contact our director at learntoskate@gefsc.com for more information regarding eligibility for classes during this modified time period in response to Covid-19..
- Parent/chaperones may view class from the bleachers only. Parents will not be permitted to sit in the players boxes.
- All participants must sign a waiver at the door prior to getting skates on.
- GEFSC Learn to Skate is required to uphold all facility regulations (this includes any facility mask mandates).

Classes
Snow Plow Sam 1-4
This level is for skaters ages 3-5 who are new to skating. The purpose of this level is to build the basic fundamentals of ice skating. Registration cost includes the seasonal membership fee or renewal for the 2022-2023 skating season.14

Basic 2-6 is for skater's who have already completed the Basic 1 or Snowplow 4 classes. These levels are for skaters who have accomplished the Basic 1-6 Curriculum and are ready to accomplish the next section of Learn to Skate USA programming. This session marks a the new skating season, therefore seasonal membership fee is included in the registration fee. If you have already renewed or signed up to be a full club member with the GEFSC, please select the GEFSC discount rate.

This class is for teens and Adult skaters of all levels that would like to learn our Adult 1-6 curriculum to further their skating experience. Registration cost includes the seasonal membership fee or renewal for the 2022-2023 skating season. If you have already actively renewed your club membership with the GEFSC for the 2022-2023 season please register under the discounted rate for GEFSC full club members.

We will now be offering a 10% multi-child discount for our skating families! Your first skater will be at full price ($130.00) but any additional skaters from the same family may register at the discounted rate of $117.00/additional sibling. This session you will also have to pay the seasonal membership fee or the renewal fee for the 2022-2023 skating season within your registration. If you have paid for a full club membership for the 2022-2023 skating season please select the club discount.
