GEFSC aims to offer on and off-ice training opportunities throughout the year for skaters who are involved in testing and competing. Programs are offered for both physical and mental development with a goal of preparing athletes to achieve their individual goals. 

GEFSC is a member of U.S. Figure Skating (USFS), the national governing body for figure skating in the United States. USFS is recognized by the International Skating Union and the International Olympic Committee.
