Basic Skills camps will have supervision during classes, lunch, and practice time.
Skater Level & Age Requirements:
*Skaters must be age 6 or older
Standard Skate Camp: Skaters must be passed Aspire 2/Freeskate 2 to participate in skate camp. These skaters will be working on Aspire 3/Freeskate 3 skills or higher (loop jump, sit and camel spin). Please consult with your private lesson coach or class instructor if you are unsure whether you meet this requirement. There is no USFS Skating Skills test requirement to participate.
Basic Skills/Aspire Camp: Skaters in Basic 4 and up can participate in a Basic Skills Mini Camp on Tuesday, July 15th!
Program Overview:
Programming is designed to help skaters grow in their skating knowledge and abilities. Instructors will lead skaters in on ice classes focused on things like jumps, spins, power & speed, and other basic skating skills. Skaters will also take part in off ice classes like off ice jumps and spins, stretching, conditioning, and yoga. Please note that camp programming does not include supervision outside of listed camp classes (except for Basic Skills/Aspire Camp). Your camp fees include all classes and freestyle or public sessions skaters will participate in during camp. Camp fees do not include lunch/snacks/drinks, private lessons during camp practice sessions, or any extra sessions you may choose to skate before or after camp.
Camp Schedule:
A detailed schedule of classes offered each week is available here. While we don't anticipate schedule changes, class topics and times are subject to change if needed due to instructor or facility needs.
Lunch:
Skaters need to bring their own lunch and drinks. Since there is currently no concession stand, they can eat inside the rink at the concessions tables.
