Halloween Exhibition

Sign up to skate in the Halloween Exhibition coming up on Tuesday, October 28th at 5:30 PM. Skaters will make up their own program to music of their choice. Pick something that goes with your Halloween costume, or something else you already have in your closet! Cost to participate, including cut music, is $25. Skaters must have a current membership with GEFSC or GEFSC Learn to Skate to participate.

Program Length

Basic Skills & Pre-Freeskate: 1:00

Aspire through Preliminary: 1:30

Pre-Juv and Up: 2:00

*Music times are approximate and may vary (shorter or longer) based on what works best for cutting the music down to this length.

Music

Skaters are able to choose the song they would like to skate to. Songs must have appropriate lyrics and themes. If a skater chooses the same song that's already been requested by another skater, they will be asked to choose a different song. Skaters will receive their music by 10/20. If you haven't decided what song you'd like to skate to before signing up, please send your music selection to Grace by Friday, 10/17 at the latest.

Skaters can have their coach watch their program and give tips and advice if they would like, but need to choreograph the program themselves. If you would like to skate a pre-existing showcase competition program rather than creating your own program, please let Grace know in order to be notified if time allows for showcase performances to be included.
