Stretching with Olga

October, November, December – Wednesday 5:15-6:15p.m. (must be approved by your coach)

We will not have a Drop-In rate, however you may come to class once to try it out!  At this time we are unable to offer makeup classes.  Please make payment directly to GEFSC Learn to Skate by check and drop in the mailbox no later than the first of each of month.  Late payments will incur a $10 late fee.  You may also pay online below.  If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us.

What will we do in class?

In this class we will do an off ice workout.  We will learn stretches that will help ice skaters do elements that can be added to their routine to improve their performance.  We will do stretching, we will learn dances that will mirror your child’s ice skating routines, and we will do conditioning to strengthen the weak muscles.

Meet the dance teacher, Olga Rodionova.

She had her training in Rhythmic gymnastics (Elite level) and dance as well.  She got a BS degree in Sports education in Ukraine and a masters degree in Nutrition from Bridgeport University.  She worked in Chicago prior to her move to Evansville 2 years ago.  Currently she works as an IB dance teacher at Signature high school and is a dance teacher at Next Step.
